Job Summary
As the Rental Manager at Gee Heavy Machinery, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and promoting our cutting-edge heavy equipment solutions within the rental market. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving revenue targets, enhancing customer relationships, and ensuring successful execution of sales strategies.
Reporting Relationships
Reports To the General Manager and/or VP of Sales & Rental
Direct Reports: Rental Representatives
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of rental representatives.
Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies.
Identify market trends, competitive intelligence, and growth opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors & customers.
Understand customer needs and tailor heavy equipment solutions accordingly.
Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
Monitor sales performance metrics (e.g., revenue, market share, customer satisfaction).
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies as needed.
Identify and target new business opportunities within the heavy equipment industry.
Expand product reach by collaborating with key stakeholders.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data.
